We are the Finish Carpentry specialist, and as such we found most builders and contractors experience frustration with the unreliability of subs to start and finish the projects per their agreements, which ends up costing more. That is why we, at DP Finish Carpentry, have created a system that provides our craftsman to start at the pre-scheduled date and produce consistent predictable quality work that is always completed on time
Company history
Back in 1976, while going to school with the guidance of my father, brother, and uncle, I was able to learn the trade.
Working on a day to day basis its simple to recognize that there is very little job security into the trade.
This was finally verified that when after 9 years of working into the trade, changing many different companies, union and non-union .
Many companies are there to use the tradesmen as a need basis, and not for their abilities, workmanship, loyalty and long term relation, where growth is encouraged and financial advancements are a reality.
The trade has given the ability to use our creativity and imagination on some of the most intricate work, to be proud of our finish product, to know that our craftsmanship is going to be admired and scrutinized by many. That is a way of living for some of us.
In 1993 I started on my own, but always had a vision of developing the ideal company, because my beliefs are that if an employee is happy the customer will get a better service and quality job, the employee will be self motivated, and in turn a profitable employee. This company would let employees have a future, and growth opportunity within the company. There would be job security, the individual would have a better opportunity to advance financially and technically by constant training, and support.
The ideal company where after one learns the trade, one can get satisfaction of admiring its trainees advance as they learn the trade.
1995 D.P. finish carpentry was born. Its objective has been;
